Central Highlands of Victoria
Established: 1983.
Aim: Quantify the inter-relationships between human and natural disturbances and changes in vegetation condition and biodiversity response.
Key research questions:
- How does natural disturbance and/or man-agement intervention alter vegetation condition, and, in turn, the response of biodiversity?
- What is the relationship between vegetation and carbon biomass?
Surveys
- Birds and marsupials every year.
- Vegetation every two years.
